The November 6th, 2014 meeting was all about gear and there were some wonderful discussions and questions. One topic in particular that came up specifically regarded Neutral Density Filters. Stephen had a particular brand that some were interested in and he passed along the following information:
The name of the 10 stop ND filter referenced at the meeting is called Haida. The model he is looking at is the Haida Slim Multi-Coating ND3.0 1000x (Proii) filter. Here is a link to their website http://www.haidaphoto.com/en/productsd.php?pid=420. It has received very good reviews from many different websites and blogs. It is also economical. Currently the only places to buy it are ebay and amazon and the ND Filters are made in China.
