Our Meetings
South Florida National Parks Camera Club Meeting Information
The South Florida National Parks Camera Club, Inc. meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month. They are either via ZOOM (online) or IN PERSON. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and conclude around 9:00 p.m. The IN PERSON meetings are held at the Leisure City Moose Lodge, 15490 S.W. 288th Street, Homestead, FL. ZOOM meetings will be accessed via a personalized link. Members and guests are invited to arrive early, generally at 6:30pm, to socialize before the meeting begins.
Visitor Policy
To encourage prospective new members, we invite visitors to attend one of our meetings as a guest in order to get to know the club and the other members and to see if what we offer is a good fit. After attending, visitors should have a feel for the club and we ask that you please join in order to continue participating in meetings and activities. Our club relies on members' dues to pay for our club expenses.
Inclement Weather Policy
While we try to hold all meetings as scheduled, the safety and well-being of our members and guests is most important. Our policy is that rain or shine our meetings will proceed as scheduled unless there is a extreme weather threat.

Visitor Policy

CANCELLATIONS - Inclement Weather Policy
As with the meetings, the safety and well-being of our members and guests is most important. We are at the mercy of weather when we’re out photographing in the field. If weather is not a factor, our field trips will proceed as scheduled, unless there is no participation (no RSVPs), which is very rare. If there is the threat of tropical activity we will make decisions prior to the event and will be posted on our website. When there is an active tropical watch or warning, all events will be cancelled.
