One of the most requested topics we get is “how do I use an off camera flash? Speedlights? Any kind of flash?” Tonight’s meeting we’ll be discussing the basics of how to set up your flash. If you have one, bring it with you, along with your camera, and we’ll go over step by step how to use it. Later in the month we’ll be going to the Everglades Nike Missile Site and photographing with a model.

Due to the differences in makes and models of flashes, speedlights, etc. we highly recommend reading the manual that came with your equipment, even if you don’t understand all the terminology, it will give you a better understanding of your gear. Then when we meet in person (bring the manual along with you), it should be easier to understand.

We will still be offering the Zoom option for meetings, but due to limited wifi strength in our meeting locations, it may not be as crystal clear as we’d like it, watching it live that is. If you wait for the replay it will be of better quality.
