We will meet at the Ernest Coe Visitor’s center parking lot, by the flag pole, no later than 9:30 and caravan to the Nike site.
We have been given permission to use the Nike Missile site in the Everglades to learn about portrait and flash photography, and practice environmental portraiture. We will have a model to pose with various pieces of equipment for you to practice. This will be an awesome opportunity to learn about flash photography and how to photograph models with various poses and lighting options.
BE AWARE!
There are no facilities at the Nike site. No electricity, no water, no bathrooms. Be sure to conduct your business before arriving. If the need arises, you will have to go to the Royal Palm Visitor’s center. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack for the day.
Also, you have to pay the entrance fee or present a park pass to get into the park.
