UPDATE - Video is linked above.
Hi everyone! Seeing as we have a free "1st Wednesday of the month" in July, I thought I'd plan a post processing Zoom session for folks to follow along, ask questions, offer suggestions, etc. So on July 3rd (our normal meeting day), we’ll have a special post processing session. This is just something extra I thought would be fun for those who are available.
As most of you are aware, our official July meeting has been changed to accommodate a special meeting/field trip with a local printer, Prints Giclée Shop, for July 13th (see July 13th Event date for more info on that). But after our milky way photography field trip last weekend, I thought it might be fun to do an open ended Zoom session, where we process night photos in Lr and maybe Ps, fix some nagging issues, and answer anyone's questions that may pop up during the session.
These past couple weeks I've been going through my Lightroom catalog (all the way back to 2015!) and reviewing each folder/album and updating keywords. Seeing my photos from back then is making me cringe now. Haha. And with all the updates Lightroom has made in the past couple years, I think it's time to revisit some old images and breathe some new life into them. Many of them night images. Shooting with a 2013 model-year crop sensor camera, the files leave a lot to be desired, but with the new Denoise in Lr, they almost look good again. Below is a link to the Zoom meeting. A G-Mail invite to the Zoom session will go out a few days before the meeting.
