ABOUT THE WALK
Cauley Square Historic Village, originally built as a railroad village to support Henry Flagler’s East Coast Railroad’s expansion to Homestead, and eventually to Key West, is now a 10-acre tropical oasis. With trails, fountained courtyards, shops in period buildings, and art galleries, it offers a “target rich environment” for photographers of all levels.
We’ll meet in the courtyard close to the entrance and meander throughout the area. There will be opportunities for photos of architecture, nature, people, animals, and… we’ll finish at one of the restaurants (TBD) with drinks and appetizers to talk about our walk and the images we’ve captured.
Parking is available along the main street and in several parking areas to the left and right. Overflow parking is available across 124th Avenue.
