ADDITIONAL MEET-UP ADDED: If anyone would like to meet at the Ernest Coe Visitor’s Center instead of LPK, be sure to RSVP so I know to wait for you. If you chose to meet here instead of LPK, be here at 5:45am so we can be at LPK by 6.
We’ll meet in the Everglades, at the Long Pine Key Picnic Area, at 6am. We’ll wander the area looking for compositions to best highlight the light, shapes, and compositional features we’ve learned about in our previous 2 composition meetings.
Please RSVP to let me know you’re coming. Send an email to info@sfnpcc.org. Thanks!
Hope to see you all there!!
Sunrise: 6:39am
What to bring!
Camera, wide angle lens, long lens, macro lens, bring what you are most interested in shooting, we’ll only be steps from our vehicles so you can switch lenses easily. If you have filters, bring a polarizer (aka CPL) and ND filters if you’d like to practice with them after the sun rises.
A sturdy tripod is always a good idea, as is mosquito repellent. Be that DEET spray, a ThermaCell, or bug jacket. I can 99% guarantee there will be mosquitoes. Just be prepared. Wear light colored & weight clothing, sturdy shoes, and be comfortable.
And never forget to pack your imagination and willingness to wonder and wander. Of course, a nice coffee or snack is never a bad idea. Water as well.
