WHAT: Deering Estate Sunrise
WHO: SFNPCC Club Members and special friends/family
WHERE: Deering Estate, Palmetto Bay
WHEN: Sat. Oct. 30 - 6:30am - 8:30am
COST: $20 per person
UPDATE - I was told that there is a 5k marathon that morning, and they'll be closing down SW 72nd Avenue, which is right in front of the main gate. We'll need to park at the Visitor's Center Parking Lot around the corner or be stuck there until they open the roads back up later in the morning. The 5k WILL NOT affect our photography shoot, just the parking situation. The 5k doesn't have check-in until 7am so it shouldn't affect us much as we'll be there before then.
We’ve joined with the folks at the Deering Estate to book a private sunrise session. It will be on Saturday, October 30th. Sunrise is at 7:30, so we’ll meet NO LATER than 6:30am at the front entrance where we’ll be escorted in the door by Deering Estate personnel. You must be there on time or you will not be allowed in the gates.
This is a special private closed event and will cost $20 per person. Please RSVP with your participation intent, and how you plan to make payment (Email us here at info@sfnpcc.org). We prefer cash payment either at upcoming meetings or other field trip events as I have to pay them up front.
If you wish to bring your family and other special friends, you are more than welcome, but they will also be subject to the $20 fee. Remember, this is not open to the public as other Deering sunrise events are, this is a private event just for the SFNPCC.
