** 9/12/20 UPDATE** - Seeing that we are now under a tropical storm watch, I will closely monitor the park to see if they decide to close. I’m guessing not, but you never know. If the park remains open I will be there Sunday morning, rain or shine. You determine for yourself if you want to go. Yes, we may get socked out with clouds, or, the clouds may break and open a tiny window for sunlight to stream through the storm. Either way, I’ll be there hoping for the latter. (Remember, Royal Palm has a covered shelter.) Bottom line, don’t feel obliged if you don’t want to endure possible storm conditions; but if you do, I’ll be there.
Sunrise at the Royal Palm Visitor’s Center. Let’s meet there at 6am. There are multiple places to wander and photograph a beautiful sunrise. You have the Anhinga Trail, the Gumbo Limbo Trail, or just stay at the visitor’s center and photograph over the pond. I’ve done all of them and they equally make great photos.
I’d love for an email back with an RSVP.
Anyone interested in breakfast? Maybe if anyone is interested in breakfast we could all bring a little something and eat right there afterward? Or, stop at a restaurant on the way back? Let me know what you all think in the email. info@sfnpcc.org.
Hope to see you there!
