October is generally when we see the last of the full Milky Way, so we’ll be heading out to our beloved Everglades to catch the last of it.
These are the specs:
Sunset is at 6:53pm
Moonset is at 7:53pm
Astronomical Twilight begins at 8:10pm, and the galactic center of the milky way should be visible from then until around 10pm.
So let’s meet at the Ernest Coe Visitor’s Center at 5:30pm. We’ll caravan down to the southern Everglades to choose a spot for sunset and milky way. Time to do the NO rain or cloud dance!
