We’ll be heading over to Shark Valley to photograph the beautiful birds. We will meet at 7:30am, and queue up to the entrance. We can wander along the canal and photograph while we wait. Gate opens at 8:30am.

UPDATE 2/22/19 - Looks like we’ll have some clouds and temps in the low to mid 70s for our trip. Be sure to bring your long lenses and a tripod. Charge up your batteries and be sure your cards are emptied and formatted and ready to go. Be aware, you will be tempted to rattle off as many shots of moving birds as your camera’s buffer will allow. Make sure you have enough memory to hold them all.

Be aware, the park staff will be on duty and will check for your yearly park pass or you will have to pay to get in. $30 per vehicle for 7 days. Yearly pass is $55. As a member of the club, I highly suggest buying a park pass as we spend a lot of time in the Everglades.
