WHAT - Sunrise shoot in the Pine Rocklands near Long Pine Key Campground

WHEN - Sunday, January 20th - 5:30am

WHERE - Ernest Coe Visitor’s Center parking lot

DESCRIPTION - We’re going out to shoot the sunrise at the “3 in 1 trail” at the Long Pine Key Campground area in the Everglades. Hopefully we’ll get some fog too! On our way back we’ll try out some macro photography.

We’ll meet at 5:30am at the Ernest Coe Visitor’s Center parking lot, then caravan to the trail location. After a less-than-1/4-mile hike to the open prairie and set up, we wait for the magic!

If there are those of you who don’t want to hike the trail, do feel free to shoot in the picnic area over the lake. It’s just as beautiful!

FEES - Be aware, the park staff may be on duty and will require a park pass or you will have to pay $30 entry fee per vehicle (good for 7-days). An Everglades Only yearly pass is $55 (as of field trip date). As a member of the club, I highly suggest buying a park pass as we spend a lot of time in the Everglades.
