For this months field trip we have been invited to see John Brady’s photography in the Everglades Gallery located in Bonita Springs (which is 2 hours and 30 minutes from Homestead). His presentation will be from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. He will lead the group through his gallery while discussing his style of photography, photographing the wetlands, sensitive areas, different methods, and a story of how he came to capture certain images.
Following his presentation in the Everglades gallery their will be a garden tour led by John Brady which will last approximately 30 minutes in the Everglades Wonder Gardens. This garden features a world-class botanical garden, native animal species, and Florida-themed fine art.
Brady will lead the club members through the garden and then club members will be given one hour to roam around at there own leisure. This will be a great opportunity to practice the macro photography techniques taught by Bob Richardson at the last camera club meeting. John Brady will lead the tour of the garden with a group rate of $9 per person. For more details about the garden visit this website: Evergladeswondergardens.com

About John Brady:
John Brady, landscape photographer, believes in using the right tool for the right job and his choice is an 8 x 10 inch wooden view, camera with some lenses that are 24 to 30 years old.
All of Florida is ripe for his camera’s eye, from the Florida panhandle to the keys and everything in between. He is drawn to the wilder parts of Florida, the places that have been untouched. He loves trees and water and whenever he can find the combination, he’s ready to do some work.
