April Field Trip - Boca Chita Key/Biscayne National Park

  • Boca Chita Key/Biscayne National Park 9700 SW 329 Street Homestead, FL 33033 (map)

Please join us for a special weekday evening boat trip to Boca Chita Key.  The meet up time will be at 3:30 pm at the Convoy Point.  Seating for the boat is limited, so please RSVP by Monday, March 30, 2015.

Boca Chita Key is the park’s most picturesque key in the park. The island's crowning glory, and Biscayne National Park's de facto symbol, is the 65-foot ornamental lighthouse built by Mark Honeywell, one of the island's former owners, in the 1930s. The lighthouse will be open for us to explore. The observation deck provides a fantastic view of the islands, bay, ocean, and the Miami, Key Biscayne, and Miami Beach skylines.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS FIELD TRIP HAS CLOSED! WE ARE FULL AND CURRENTLY HAVE NO SPACE AVAILABLE ON THE BOAT!

Due to the high demand of attendance for this field trip we are going to try to coordinate to offer it again this year.
