We are excited to announce our February Field Trip. We will be heading to Shark Valley on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. Join us for a morning walk with the aim of photographing birds. Wood Storks, wading birds, Snail Kites and Anhingas may be found throughout the the tram road. We will also be hiking a short trail the Bobcat Boardwalk Trail which is 0.5 one way. We will be practicing some of the new techniques that we learned from Lorraine Thomas' presentation on Bird Photography.

At the entrance, we will be discussing possible subjects and providing photography tips for photographing birds.
Here are some suggestions for items to bring:
Water
Snacks
Bug Spray
Sunscreen
Hat
Please keep in mind that the entrance to Shark Valley is $10 per vehicle after 9:00am, which is not included as part of this field trip. Since we will be arriving at 6:30am and parking outside of Shark Valley, you will not have to worry about paying the entrance fee.
