Born and raised in South Florida, Jennifer Dominguez is a nature and landscape photographer. She has recently started to specialize in creating stunning images of the night sky and stars. She finds inspiration from being outdoors surrounded by wildlife, mountain ranges, and oceans. Though she finds her creativity while traveling to numerous locations around the globe, her absolute favorite place to travel to are National Parks throughout the United States. Jennifer’s passion has always been landscape photography and she loves all forms of photography and art. She is always pushing her limits in her pursuits to capture beautiful images.
Before the digital revolution, Jennifer started taking pictures using a film camera and processing all her images in a darkroom. She looks up to photographers like Art Wolfe, Clyde Butcher, and Ansel Adams to name a few. One of her favorite quotes comes from Art Wolfe: “Never stop looking, no matter where you are, everywhere there are good photographs.”
Jennifer has had her photos displayed in the Frost Art Museum located at Florida International University (FIU) in April 2013 and April 2014. From October 2013 to July 2014 her photos were on display in the Ronald W. Reagan Presidential House at FIU. She is also the Social Media Coordinator for Jesse L. Summers Photography.
Jennifer currently resides in Miami, FL., where she works for FIU’s Center for Leadership, as a New Media Manager. She is responsible for the design and development of numerous e-platforms, which support the Center’s daily operations, marketing strategies, and programming.
