SPRING HAS SPRUNG (sort of)!Well, our shortest month (February) certainly wasn’t our most productive. Traffic held me up for the PhotoFinish and I was quite late (from now on we’re starting at 7:30 instead of 7pm), our meeting at the library, the IT guy was out sick and hilarity ensued, and then our Fairchild bird walk sold out before most members could get their tickets! Never a dull moment with he SFNPCC I tell ya. Thank heavens the FrameIt and night sky field trip event with Jason were successful! Big thanks to all who were so patient and forgiving during all our foibles. And an even BIGGER thanks to Jason for traveling all the way from West Palm Beach to show us all his cool equipment for photographing the deep space sky. It was really nice seeing everyone again! Let’s hope March eases in like a gentle spring breeze rather than a gale. Anything that was recorded will posted on the website event pages, as well as in our “members only” section. So if you missed anything, be sure to watch the replay! 😁 Special note: my computer crashed last night so there will be NO March PhotoFinish. I’ve moved it to April. You have until Friday to submit your images for our Winter “4 FOR 4” Challenge. Here’s the link to upload your images (including RAW images) or you can always email them to info@sfnpcc.org. The memo for the challenge went out in mid-December (here’s a link if you missed it). This first quarterly “winter” challenge started on January 1st and ends Friday. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s images!
